About The Remote Stack
Independent reviews of the tools distributed teams run on.
Why this site exists
Most "best time tracking software" lists are thinly disguised affiliate funnels — every tool is a winner, every con is a whisper. The Remote Stack exists to do the opposite: publish balanced, specific reviews that name real trade-offs, so distributed teams can choose the right tool without wading through hype.
We focus on the software remote and hybrid teams actually run on: time tracking, productivity analytics and employee monitoring. We test the tools, document what we verify, and flag anything we can't confirm rather than guessing.
Who runs it
The Remote Stack is run by a single editor and owner — not a faceless content farm, and not a roster of invented "experts."
Danny
Editor & Founder · The Remote Stack
Danny is the editor and founder of The Remote Stack. He hands-on tests time tracking and remote-work software so distributed teams can skip the marketing claims and see what actually works — including the trade-offs and real cons.
